We are ringing in the new year with one heck of an event! This month we're going to do something a little different. The Winter event that [personal profile] shardofwinter has been working so hard on is going to inspire no shortage of prose and PSLs so this month I will have only two prompts. One will be a repository for Winter Event prose and PSLs so we have everything gathered in one place and the other will be a fun lighter option for those who are choosing not to participate in the event. And As always--

Disclaimer: I never close old writing prompts from previous months. People can and should be encouraged to post on old month's prompts and I highly encourage players to track these posts to catch stragglers or new people writing on old prompts.

Now. With that out of the way, onto this month's prompts.

January's Writing Prompts

1. The Night is long, the weather cold. Stay a while and tell us a story, won't you?

((Put your Winter Event things here so people can stay up to date on anything that doesn't quite make it to the event post sticky'd to the Main Comm. Note: This is not for event related Main comm top posts as we all can see those. This is specifically for PSLs and prose.))

Another Time, Another tale.

2. A new year means a fresh start. An open book full of blank pages, full of possibility. Who might you be this year? Your character is given an opportunity to change. How large or small is up to you. What do they do? What is it they would change?
