June Writing Prompts

It's that time again! How the heck is it June already? Say goodbye to Spring and hello to Summer because the days are getting longer and hotter all the time. Stay hydrated and protected, folks! But if you do gotta dash inside for a reprieve, how about some writing prompts eh? Eh? Let's do this.

Disclaimer: I never close old writing prompts from previous months. People can and should be encouraged to post on old month's prompts and I highly encourage players to track these posts to catch stragglers or new people writing on old prompts.

Now. With that out of the way, onto this month's prompts.

June Writing Prompts

1. "He was like a father to me." What kind of man influenced your character the most growing up? Are they still alive? What did they do to shape your character into the person they are today.

2. Pulling an All-Nighter.

3. Write about your character's favorite flower. Do they love roses? Lilies? Venus fly traps? Why the interest in these beautiful buds? (shoutout to rogueinladysclothing for this one!)

4. Write about a bad habit of your character's. Is it something minor and really irritating? A kinda gross personal hygeine quirk? A debilitating and crippling addiction? How does it affect their day to day lives and the lives of those closest to them?

5. "This tastes amazing, I've never even heard of it! What's in this?" Trying food from a new culture. (Thanks to westfallcorndog for this!)
