February Writing Prompts

As most of you know, February is a Big Deal for Nexus Crossings! We celebrate our 2nd Birthday this month! When we first created this community we were but a small group of wee babs looking to do something fun together and make a place for ourselves. Two years later we have a thriving RP community and I have all of YOU to thank for that.

To our founding members, a deep bow and gratitude for trusting us crazies enough to follow us over here, and to our newer members a warm welcome and the hope you'll be with us for a long time to come. :)

Disclaimer: I never close old writing prompts from previous months. People can and should be encouraged to post on old month's prompts and I highly encourage players to track these posts to catch stragglers or new people writing on old prompts.

Now. With that out of the way, onto this month's prompts.

February Writing Prompts

1. In honor of the Lunar (Chinese) New Year being the year of the Dog for 2018, write about your character interacting with a canine friend. Was it lost? Is it their pet? Reminiscing about a good boy long since passed? I challenge you to keep the tone optimistic in the spirit of the new year and new beginnings!

2. Your character receives an anonymous bouquet of flowers and a small gift! What do they do?

3. Close your eyes and make a wish

4. Learning from Another's point of view. Specifically someone your character has not gotten along with in the past.

5. Write about what heritage means to your character. It could be personal/familial, their home culture, the entity or faction to which they belong.
