Hello Nexus Denizens and a happy New Year. 2017 is upon us so lets start things off on the creative right foot, shall we?

Disclaimer: I never close old writing prompts from previous months. People can and should be encouraged to post on old month's prompts and I highly encourage players to track these posts to catch stragglers or new people writing on old prompts.

Now. With that out of the way, onto this month's prompts.

January Writing Prompts

1. "I knew you'd come back."

2. "That's cold, even for you."

3. How does your character learn to do something new? Do they seek guidance from someone with experience? Turn to books? Online tutorials? Or do they just wing it and see what happens?

4. The past is ever behind us, the future ever ahead. And here are we, stuck in the moment of now.

5. When the weather outside is frigid and dark so much of the time how does your character relax?
