Character Questions: THE TEST RUN

Hey everyone, it's Gish! I had a thought earlier this week about how much fun it is to fill out FORMS. Which is to say, filling out questionnaires and quizzes about your character(s). It was something that went around a lot more with the old LJ Nexus days and in a curious attempt to bring it back in a new way, I thought I'd try this!

Under the cut is a questionnaire about character basics. No one's required to fill this out, or even fill out ALL of it. This is just for funsies and a chance for all of us to talk and think a bit more about our characters.

Depending on how this goes, I might look into making this a regular thing on the OOC comm with different focuses and themes. Anyway, have at it! I look forward to reading any and all responses!

Title/Rank: it's a post-doc position on the Chiron, technically she could use the Dr prefix but she prefers not to except for professional publications.
Hobbies/Pastimes: horseback riding, reading, learning about Earth (and most recently pokémon)
Talents/Skills/Powers: professional level of knowledge in infectious diseases, basic knowledge in first aid and triage, empathetic (in the traditional sense, not supernaturally) to a fault, able to befriend just about anyone.

First Memory: reading to her stuffed animals
Most important childhood event that still affects him/her: learning how to ride a horse
Why/How? Adia was a shy, anxious child. Learning to give directions to a large, calm beast went a long way to building her self-confidence.
Other memories/events that still affects him/her and why/how: Oh boy. In roughly chronological order:
doing science experiment stuff with her dad
time spent with her nana in the country
being emotionally bullied by "mean girls" in middle school
the Cylon War and everything that went down with Caspar
discovering the Nexus
Past failures s/he would be embarrassed to have people know about and why: any of the times when she was younger that someone else was being bullied or mistreated and she didn't do anything.
Biggest role model: her father
Why? he was also a shy, awkward person, but he pushed past his insecurities to become a successful chemist and a stand-up sort of fellow.
Biggest challenge from childhood: overcoming her social anxiety. Which she mostly managed to do, although the Cylon war threw her back several steps.

Posture: she has good posture when she isn't trying to make herself as tiny and inconspicuous as possible

Skin: she tans in the summer, but all that time spent on her ship has left her rather pale

Describe their smile: cute and shy. if she's comfortable around someone, she'll smile more widely.

Who does s/he take after; mother or father? her dad, especially her eyes.
Style (Elegant, shabby, etc): simple, and unfortunately shabbier than she'd like as the war wears on
How does s/he dress or what do they typically wear? she dresses like she doesn't want to stand out in a crowd. simple shirts and slacks, most of her wardrobe is business casual. she has a lot of pretty scarves, though.
Other outfits one might find in their wardrobe: a nice green dress, a few other cute skirts and things that she never wears because she doesn't want to get them dirty.
Jewelry: she has a collection of simply, pretty items that she never wears because she's afraid she'll lose them.
Other accessories: scarves! Perfect for fidgeting with.
Weapons: hahahaha
Health: she is as healthy as one can be living on a ship with dwindling resources in the middle of a war. but she doesn't have any chronic health problems.
Hygiene: she tries to be as clean as possible, especially her face and hands. sometimes there is limited access to water and she can't wash her hair, which bothers her a great deal. she doesn't want people to see her looking unwashed.
Physical Flaws: none
Physical Qualities: she's a little stronger than she looks, having to do a lot of lifting and moving of medical supplies.
