Alright folks!

I've got The Fite Nite event up on Nexus Crossings. Here's how this will work.

If you are betting, feel free to make up poor shmucks that you're betting on and watching unless there's a specific fight going on you want to do commentary on. If you plan on being part of a rescue operation, keep in mind that you can organize as much as you like from the onset, but any actual breaking in and breaking this up will be a finale thread, so don't ruin anyone else's fun by jumping in early unless you have express consent from both fighters.

FIGHTERS!

Pair up Down below and discuss how you want a fight to go! All fights must be agreed upon and outcomes either agreed upon or left to me to decide via coinflip. Unless decided it would be really funny beforehand, keep in mind your character will be injured in some capacity ranging from bruises, scrapes, cuts to broken bones and serious trauma requiring medical attention.

There will be medical staff npcs on site to patch up people as needed so no one is left with a serious injury unless they want that for their toon for plot reasons. Despite the description you are not allowed to kill another person's muse. If you WANT to kill someone/something let me know and I will provide an NPC for you to wreck the shit out of. I promise to put up a good fight!

Jim will be participating as a fighter against his will! He is free for as many rounds as there are people who want to fight him as time has no meaning AND there's totally medical staff on site to heal him up if that smug ass smirk of his has been pissing anyone off!

I'm throwing Dia in on this too as an unwilling, pissed off participant. However, in the interests of fairness, I'm willing to make the Lightsaber/dualsaber an option, and instead, give her a training saber/staff that serves the same purpose (A long staff that can split into two smaller ones).

That said, if you want her to have her lightsaber/saberstaff, with all of the utter Bullshit that Space Wizard Weapons are, I'm game for it, just let me know your preference.

Ugh if Dav was any good with a lightsaber I'd put him up against Dia, but he's had no training whatsoever lol, but he's more than willing to help with the rescue.

ETA: He does know some extremely basic Force maneuvers, so he'll probably be using them during said rescue.

Fisticuffs or with weapons doesn't matter for the fight - I'm happy to accommodate whatever someone else would like!

Van is going to be part of the rescue operation for sure, probably signing up willingly just as a way of getting inside/seeing where the fighters are kept. Can either play it as having coordinated this with the other rescuers, or as nerdvahkiin following his SOP and just going in solo.

Also, if/when he has to fight in the meantime, I'm willing to play them either way: straight hand-to-hand (he learned on the mean streets of Anvil and so fights dirty af) or I can bring magic into the mix - he tends to mostly toss around fireballs and sling lightning in battle, and also will definitely not be above summoning an atronach or two or an exploding familiar.

The rogue hereby challenges Van to a fight (or, rather, will be forced into challenging him)!

Use of magic is allowed in so far as the magic only has direct effects on Van or Amelia. That means no fireballs or familiars. Also, we're going fisticuffs here, no weapons. Just a good ol' fashioned dirty fight! :D

Note: I'm more than happy to let Amelia lose to the Dragonborn. She doesn't have any defenses against his use of magic, after all. :o

For viable NPC's, if you would like to have your character fight a Pokemon, feel free to message me here! I'm assisting with the NPC train and will randomly (or your choice) give you a pokemon to fight. Results are decided at random as well, unless you're a monster who really wants to beat up on a Magikarp.

Kaz will sign up willingly because he loves suffering in the service of hubris. His combat specialty is hand-to-hand (CQC) stuff. Also knives. (And guns, but I figure those get left at the door.) A fair match would be another baseline human.

I'm happy to match up with someone who wants to tag at a relatively slow speed -- internet access at work is down until ??? so not much day tagging.

Ohhhh heyoooo! Harrow will join as a willing combatant until he learns that this is an unwilling situation for some, after which he would gladly join the rescue operations. He's skilled in both magic and physical fighting, and has both a human and a worgen form. He would be fairly matched against any superstrength humans or other casters, but I'm not above (read: would love) giving him handicaps in order to level the playing field against non-magic/non-super humans.

Since I'm phonepostin' and don't want to switch accounts: Radio (off-the-air) will be a spectator/gambler.

As a heads up, I am out of town until this Friday though and probably won't be able to tag much if at all. Anyone who's down for very slow tagging or a late start hit me up. I can be more available after this Friday!

HERE COMES A NEW CHALLENGER

What's that, you say? A character that I, Dia-mun, haven't played here yet?

SO WHAT.

SO. Here's the one you want if you want the real challenge. What we have here is Adorazuran the Fallen.

A Draenei Death Knight who is effectively in terms of powers, an undead spacegoat terminator, who's really good at speaking with the Dead, and other necromantic powers. Adora is written more or less as a hybrid of a Blood Death Knight (in terms of ridiculous regeneration and recovery), and an Unholy Death Knight (in terms of being able to summon the Dead).

She's seven foot one, and has a two handed runeblade broadsword to match this height, as well as the strength of the Warrior she was in life.

Boom, baby.

That said: She's willingly in on this, at least until she, like others, discovers that people have been co-opted into this against their will.

She's weak to holy magic, and has next to no skills that work at range (Except Death Coil, but that's like a blob of slowly moving shadow magic).

What I have to offer is a pacifist ninja. Minoru would sign up willingly because he enjoys sparring and he's good at it. But when he realizes people are here against their will and some of them being killed, he'll help get them out of there. He won't strike a killing blow, and is likely to pull an attack that would injure someone if at all possible.

If it's just hand-to-hand, expect a lot of acrobatics. If his opponent has a weapon, he'd still likely be fighting hand-to-hand, with no qualms about a good challenge. For something more intense, he can breathe fire, summon snakes and has a Sage Mode that lets him access snakelike abilities. If you have any preferences at what age he appears, he can have greater or fewer special abilities but his core mechanics won't change too much.

He also has some limited healing abilities that could come in handy for any rescues. The older he is, the greater these become.

Bit late to the party, but if anyone feels like getting into a fistfight with a space-magic enhanced robot in power armor, Blaze is totally available for that. She hits like a freight train and has a few Light-based electrical powers, including grenades. I'm up for having her take a sound beating, win or lose.

Otherwise, she'll be around checking out the bloodshed, betting liberally and cheering enthusiastically until she finds out not everybody volunteered. Then it's time to start trashing the place. Enthusiastically.
