February 2021 Plot Roundup
Welcome to February's Plot Roundup!
As always, Please Read The Post before replying.
It’s back to bring you a chance to kick back with more delicious spyreading! A lot has been happening for the characters of the Nexus both in and outside the main comm! We’re inviting you to show your fellow players what your characters have been getting up to! Simply follow the format below and tag with a plot summary and links to the relevant prose and threads – then enjoy checking out the latest storylines! Just make sure to check out our handy FAQ below.
Please submit any plots that have been going on since the last Plot Roundup (December 2020). If you missed out last time or this is your first time submitting to the roundup please feel free to link earlier posts. If you have new threads to an Older plot, please link to your previous plot roundup in the plot summary rather than listing it twice.

Submit One Comment per character with a collection of links (in chronological order) to important threads they have been a part of as well as a summary of the plot involved. In the subject of the comment include your character's name.
Why do we do this? For spy-reading, of course! It helps everyone in the comm stay abreast of each other's plots, especially as the size of our comm grows. It's also a good way to make sure your hard work is admired by others.
What is relevant: Any prose, private storyline/plot pieces, monthly prompts, community threads, or solo pieces which took place on personal journals or which were reposted onto personal journals from chat apps, etc. The pieces must be considered canon for characters as they are played in the Nexus (ie: No links to memes which were just for fun, etc.) If important Nexus-Canon development has occurred in a meme post that thread MUST be linked here to be considered canon in game, but submissions from other DW games are not allowed under any circumstance. All submitted links should be considered significant to your character's growth or a plot in some way.
For community posts you must link to the important threads you wish to submit. We want to encourage people to spy-read the best parts of your characters' lore and to do that we need to be able to point to where these happened. No one is going to read through a 500+ comment party post for one thread your character was in. Please keep this in mind! The only exception to this is if your character made a top-level Nexus post that has multiple important threads. Please feel free in that case to only link the post once, but the summary Must include which threads are must-reads and why!
How should I list my threads? Please utilize a title for each link to label each submission using the < a href... formatting. This will help cut down on the confusion of having just a list of raw links with no indication as to what each of them is for.

Finally:
Each thread should be submitted only once per player so if you have multiple muses involved in a single thread make mention to who else they impact on the first submission of a thread and then perhaps refer to that in the next character's summary!

Guardian Katiri & Luce
~ The Dawning has arrived, and Katiri takes Ben to the Tower for the first time to visit during the holiday and meet her Fireteam and enjoy Eva's baking.
Nexus Dawning:
~ Not long after, Katiri also discovers that the other Guardians in the Nexus has brought a little bit of the Dawning to the multiverse. Katiri brings her Fireteam. Katiri gets to reconnect with her friend Ben Solo and the Hunter Kojin gets to meet a new Guardian named Steve.
Widget in the meantime, meets fellow Titan Aegis-9. Later, she is observing kids play in the snow and meets Donya, who then takes her to meet Halloween Jack and family.
Kojin also gets to meet Blaze-37 and is joined by a shy and starstruck Widget. Even Katiri's Ghost Luce goes off to be social and runs into Tony Stark giving out cookies.
Zayda's party/after-party:
~ In the New Year, Katiri is invited to a party at Tom and Aletayria's house to celebrate their infant daughter Zayda. She brings a Baryon Bough as a gift. She spends a while in conversation with Aletayria and sees the Greenhouse.
After the party, there is an impromptu jam session on the lawn with Ziggy and other musicians. Katiri invites her Fireteam to join her to enjoy the music and socialize. Widget gets to meet a Cybertronian singer named Rosanna, and the team gets to meet the musicians Ziggy and Mick.
Astro Boy
Astro's First Dawning:
~ Astro celebrates both his first Christmas and his first Dawning in the Nexus. He reconnects with Caspar and Tony Stark, and meets the twins Isamu and Minoru. He meets up with Aletayria and Tom, and meets their friends Halloween Jack, and their kids.
Zayda's Party/After-party:
~ Astro helps out the Stardust family during Zayda's party and helps celebrate. Later during the impromptu after party, Astro gets a chance to meet Tommy's wife Etainia.

Minoru begins planning for his American Ninja Warrior qualifying round - something he tells Shelby (
Isamu thought his mind was normal and Minoru's mind was weirdly affected by Antheans. But apparently, he's the weird one - since it literally put baby Zayda to sleep and confuses the hell out of a little Mantis (
And a potion-induced conversation with Etainia (
Random chaos becomes a common occurrence. i.e. Glitter bombs and Plastic Flamingos with Isamu's version of events over here - courtesy of Ravage (
And we have the beginnings of tour shenanigans (that likely take place at some point the next few months?) as Minoru tags along with the Spiders from Mars. Sometimes it's innocent - like eating at Dennys and sometimes a little less innocent - like getting arrested and running from cops. Eventually, Minoru gets a tattoo, which will prompt some interesting reactions from his family.
