The IRIS - List of researchers

Hello all!

To those of you who aren't aware: The Nexus has a Research facility run by Isidor Durant called The IRIS. 

Details about this research facility can be found in the Settings section - Here.

However I have just added a new post to detail who is part of the facility. There is a link to it in the Settings section, but it can be found here. 

While I'm at it I want to let people know that if they want their characters to join The IRIS to just shoot me a message (or reply here) and we'll sort things out.

I would very much like Hermione to be a researching at IRIS, since she lives for this type of thing. She is currently the Minister of Magic for Europe in her world, and would love to take advantage of having a Nexus place where she can research to her heart's content.

Magicwise, Hermione is extremely proficient in: Arithmancy; Charms; Defense Against the Dark Arts; Herbology; Potions; Study of Ancient Runes; and Transfiguration. She is considered to be the Brightest Witch of her Generation.

Nexus related background: Hermione has researched bridging the gap in technology to magic, to assist new wizards and witches in adapting using Muggle technology.

While not explicitly a researcher herself, as her knowledge in scientific fields is limited at best (particularly in comparison to some, in the Star Trek universe from which she hails), in the spirit of sharing information and benefiting from it, Delia is willing to share any and all scan data she has in her tricorder from the Nexus, for those who are more capable of understanding the data than her basic knowledge of such.

Oooh an interesting concept! She and Isidor should talk regarding a database for IRIS so that researchers can freely access that info. Would she want anything in return? She could be part of IRIS as 'Field Researcher'?

A definite possibility, although she'd be surprised to be referred to as one. Delia views information as power, particularly in somewhere as naturally chaotic and confusing as the Nexus itself.

She also has resources, in the form of her crew, some of whom are definitely more specialized than her.

Delia largely values her autonomy, so that'd be the biggest thing, but otherwise, nothing truly unethical (experiments on sentients, etc)
