OOC: The Silence of the Storm
The third and final event post is here!
Thank you everyone for being so patient with me, RL and some wonky timings on threads and reveals has dragged this out a little longer than I anticipated. Nevertheless, here we are! As per usual, the goal of this post/event is to have fun. That said, here are a few things to note about this post.
1. Part 1 of this post starts immediately
The Expedition Post is still going on, primarily in the form of the Main Expedition. Post 3 is for those stuck at base. This is a place to meet new characters or build on old CR. There will be some mini-events within it, but it's still primarily a playground for characters to have Winter Event related threads
2. There is going to be a Part 2 within this post
Part 2 will start after the Main Expedition is wrapped up (or mostly wrapped). This will be a chance for people to tend to the wounded, react to the events of the Expedition, reunite friends and generally be glad that people are back. I will make an OOC announcement to draw attention to the Part 2 thread for those not tracking the post.
3. There is not going to be One Big Finale
As I've said before, this is an endurance event. There is not going to be one big bad to fight and win to 'save the day'. This is about how all our characters cope under strain and to give us a chance to show that side of them.
As always, if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask them! In the meantime, plot, plan and natter to your heart's delight on this post!
