OOC: The Start of the Storm
Here we are! The Winter Storm Event is finally here!
In the top comments Isidor has organised tables for people to approach/sign up at. This gives people the chance to see who is doing what and gives you all excuses to engage in some CR. Threadhopping and thread starting is fully allowed and encouraged.
I will be trying to give everyone an activity. Understandably, groups will be easier than individuals, but I'll be trying to give everyone something anyway. If I miss you, just give me a little nudge and I'll get to it! Or if you have one in mind, let me know! Don't be afraid to take the initiative and start your own, or ask to join in on another one!
Please use this post for Event related plots, for the sake of convenience. If you still want to use the Event setting for asking a question in the community, that's different, go ahead!
There will be another post for expeditions/scavenging coming a little later, so folks who are focused on those activities can use this post to settle into the setting, seek out equipment, prepare and get to know their teammates.

This event is inspired a great deal by the game Frostpunk. I highly recommend taking a listen to the OST to get into the zone.

No one has missed out on anything and there will be plenty more expeditions! This is just the initial one to show people what sorts of things people will be getting up to for this event.
The event coordinators will be in touch here and over Discord to organize this so for now start getting to know one another!
