Howdy do! I'm Tandy and I, for lack of a better thing to do have brought you the swamp thing, aka the artist formerly known as Alec Holland who is now a giant plant dude.

Alec's backstory is long, complicated, and full of bad Alan Moore cliches. He's actually a pretty decent dude but he suffers from what I like to call "Doctor Manhattan syndrome" where you're so powerful it's pretty hard to muster a fuck to give- part of the reason the nexus has dragged him here!
This is NEW 52 alec (the new 52 alec did like 3 good things, basically rebooting all of DC's weird magic titles. Swamp thing prior to new 52 was an actual plant who thought he was Alec Holland. This swampy IS alec, fresh outta his war with the rot kingdom where he failed to save his ex-wife.
He's got a permissions post and I'd love to plot with any crazy elemental people or oth3r superheroes. If i put a toe outta line drop me a DM. I'm working on getting a discord.

Very excellent! I haven't read the Alan Moore run of this guy in aaaaaaaaaages, but I remember liking the general metaphysical fun they brought to the Swamp Thing. Sorry he had to run into this butthole of a beast right out the gate though. I promise I have less rude characters running around too!!

Yesss! I picked him up completely randomly and am working my way through moore after reading the new 52 version. It's hard striking that balance of "I am literally king of the plants" and "I'm also an occasional member of Constantine's justice league"

haaaa. Swamp thing has his eye on him as of now (and he went and buried those creepers even though the whole thing was his fault in the first place after vowing revenge)
