January Writing Prompts

Happy New Year and welcome to 2018, Nexusites! Can you believe it'll be two years of Nexus Crossings this February? Time really does fly. As we wind down from the Holiday season and don't let the door hit 2017 on the way out, let's do what we do best and get some writing on.

Disclaimer: I never close old writing prompts from previous months. People can and should be encouraged to post on old month's prompts and I highly encourage players to track these posts to catch stragglers or new people writing on old prompts.

Now. With that out of the way, onto this month's prompts.

January Writing Prompts

1. Attending a fireworks festival.

2. Under the full moon

3. In honor of old man 2017 and new bab 2018 write about your characters interacting with the elderly and/or a newborn. Is it a family member? Someone they've just met? (shoutouts to westfallcorndog for this one!)

4. It's just business, nothing personal.

5. Write about your character trying to improve themselves. Are they the type to give up right away or really stick with it? What do they choose to work on or try to do?
