October Writing Prompts

Welcome to October~! As everyone knows this is my favorite time of year and I'm happy to drop some lovely little prompts onto all of you to inspire you.

As always--

Disclaimer: I never close old writing prompts form previous months. People can and should be encouraged to post on old month's prompts and I highly encourage players to track these posts to catch stragglers or new people writing on old prompts.

Now. With that out of the way, onto this month's prompts.

October Writing Prompts

1. Paying respects

2. To don another's face. (Is your character going undercover? Invited to a swank masquerade ball? Just taking the kids out Trick or Treating?)

3. "Who pushes people into piles of leaves anymore?!"

4. What happens when someone spikes the punch?

5. Write about your character ending up at a sports bar during one of the many Important Games competing during this time of year. Are they uncomfortable? Confused but eager to interact with others over a drink? Or are they That Guy getting way too into the event?


Bonus Prompt:

Too many sweets. Just. Too many.

THIS. WAS. SO. GOOD.

The narrative being first-person works perfectly so don't even feel bad for going there. It's perfect. I'd been wondering what Viatorus meant when he told Micolash about embodying a god and was frustrated I didn't get to address it in my tag back. BUT NOW I KNOW. And it's awesome and I can't wait for it to come up when it finally has the chance. STOP TALKING ABOUT YOURSELF, MICOLASH, SO YOU CAN LEARN SOMETHING.

Again, amazing. Loved it. You write so good.
