Welcome to the start of summer, everyone. Let's get the creative ball rolling with our monthly prompts!

As always--

Disclaimer: I never close old writing prompts form previous months. People can and should be encouraged to post on old month's prompts and I highly encourage players to track these posts to catch stragglers or new people writing on old prompts.

Now. With that out of the way, onto this month's prompts.

June Writing Prompts

1. "I wish I could say I was surprised."

2. "I don't know, it's shit my dad used to say."

3. What kind of accomplishment would your character feel really proud of? Did they save the world? Secure a business deal? Or do they take the most satisfaction from the little things? Managing to fold the bed without creases, or finally--FINALLY--beating that level of C*ndy Crush?

4. Write about a confrontation that is definitely your character's fault. It can be as minor as a disagreement or as major as an all out fight.

5. There's no place like home.
