+1 newbie and little Captain

Hiya! Y'all can call me After, I'll be playing a personal AU of Toshiro Hitsugaya from the Bleach series. Went ahead and made my first post already, because with the amount of tweaks it was going through I felt like I just needed to get it out of the way or I'd never do it, hah. This is my first time on Dreamwidth and my first time getting back into RP in quite a while, so please bear with me and let me know if I make any mistakes or anything. ^^;

Not sure how many people here have read/seen Bleach, but for those who are unfamiliar, I'm working on a couple info posts that'll be posted here (his "main" RP account) relatively soon. I say main because I'm also bringing along a few other accounts as icon repositories because I really... really... really tried narrowing down my icon choices (down from 141!) but couldn't get it even close to 15 and I don't have money for a premium account and so here we are. |D They might not be seen all that frequently (or maybe they will be, who knows), but better to have 'em and not need 'em than need 'em and not have 'em, yeah?

The first two are purely for alt icons, while the last is slightly alt icon and mostly another character - it pertains to why exactly he's an AU. This Hitsugaya has ended up with a certain set of abilities that results in him hosting another entity within his mind, and said entity will be making an appearance later on (whether he likes it or not). There are visual ways to tell them apart, but I will also note who's who on the icon page just in case once all the icons are actually finished, so hopefully things won't get too confusing.

Also, an important note: he's able to sense the souls and spiritual energy of other beings, provided they have souls/an equivalent and aren't pure machines. If you're not human, he'll know, even if he won't know exactly what. And if you have certain special powers, he may be able to know that as well depending on what they entail. Each soul and its energy is unique like a fingerprint, and may have some sort of sensation associated with it (ex. warm, cold, comforting, dark). If your character has something that Hitsugaya might notice as out of the ordinary, please let me know either here or over PM, as it may affect character interaction (otherwise I'll likely just use personal judgment). In case anyone needs Hitsugaya's, his soul/energy is very cold, as his main powers are very much ice-based.

Welcome! It's super cool to see a new face around here! I'm not familiar at all with Bleach other than it's an anime and I don't consume much of that. But still! This guy sounds neat and I'm gonna try and toss one of my characters at your post later today or this weekend. :]

Yep, I've already pestered one of the mods about the AVF and such. XD They've been really helpful, I'm glad this community seems so friendly! Trying to get the hang of who's who is a bit confusing though, hah. Is lost_her_voice one of yours?

I'm actually this guy! Hitsugaya's pretty exciting in this case because he might be one of the first to get a bead on Dr. Hill's exact nature. Since everyone around here knows he's not human, but that doesn't explain what he is instead. LOOKING FORWARD TO IT

I'm also not super familiar with Bleach, but I know I had a ton of friends who were absolutely wild about it about 10 years ago haha. It's about ghost-hunting or something similar, if I recall? Maybe Toshiro and my character, Harrowheart, will have some fun interactions, as he's undead with ice powers and some soul nonsense himself. Either way, I'm really happy to see new members who are already feeling comfortable (or brave!) enough to do OOC intro posts. That's always a really good sign. I hope that you find the comm here is to your liking! Like Ixis said, we try to be as open and helpful as possible OOC, so if you ever need anything at all don't hesitate to hit up any members or mods.

Heh, something like that. Normal ghosts, monster ghosts, crazy magic weapon powers, other worlds, and a bunch of "dead" people. Bleach in a nutshell!

I know nothing about WoW, but Harrowheart seems really cool, I like his art! I'd definitely be up for throwing Captain Snowball here at him sometime. ovo And yeah, the community seems pretty great! There's less pressure involved, I've seen some neat characters around, and I'm really excited to get involved in Nexus shenanigans. I'm sure I'll enjoy it. :D

I used to be SUPER INTO Bleach way back in the day so I squealed like a kid when I saw you posting in the Nexus. I haven't kept up with it for a long, long time but I know the older arcs like the back of my hand yet.

Ayyyyy neato! Do you remember sorta where you left off? And have you heard about the end? I'm pretty sure the point from which I've taken this Hitsugaya technically counts as old stuff so spoilers shouldn't be much of an issue, but there might be new stuff here and there and I might send him off for an "update" when I get further along in the AU.

I'm not familiar with Persona 2, but I am familiar with 3 and 4, so I'm really curious to see how interacting with Katsuya will pan out. *w* Do you have a list of your other characters somewhere, or...?

Ah, i stopped watching around episode 200ish. It was a filler arc and i made the mistake of trying to get through all of the filler and got bored and then never picked it up again.

I heard that way later after the Aizen thing got sorted there was gonna be a war between the Quincies and the Soul Society but I never got back into it to see it pan out.

Persona 2 is legit my two favorite Persona games. There's Inocent Sin and Eternal Punishment. Katsuya there is from post-Eternal Punishment. And post livejournal Dear_multiverse plot back in the day. He's my oldest RP account.

Iiiiiiii also play Jim Kirk here, Steve Rogers, Natasha Romanov, Nekomata, Joshua Washington, Tiny Tina, Chirrut, AU Ben Solo, and anyone else I can pick up without being scolded by people who have my best interest in mind because i have no willpower.

Ah, yep, that sounds like the Kasumioji Conspiracy thing. I skipped it entirely, but I've heard it's certainly not the best filler. |D I'll have to check out P2 soon, it's been on the to-do list but I just keep forgetting to get around to it, aghhh.
