Movie Night: October Surprise
Movie Night™: Still a Thing!
It's been a while since we've done one of these, and I promised to have one in September, but due to a series of really convoluted events surrounding my move irl I wasn't able to host anything. I can't miss the opportunity to have a movie in October, though!
So for those who are new (and there are a lot of you!) here's the rundown:
Movie Night is an in-character move streaming event event where we all sign up for livestream with our character's name as our account name. We get together in the livestream chat and make IC commentary on the movie as we watch, reacting as if we were our characters. Invitations are open to everyone and every character, but for ease of reading please just pick one character per event to attend on. The IC venue is Flixbuster, a run-down VHS emporium Downtown.
Streaming Date/Time: Friday, October 14th at 9:30pm Eastern (6:30pm Pacific, 7:30 Mountain, 8:30 Central)
October's Movie: Friday the 13th, an R-rated slasher flick with all warnings that apply to the genre.
The night of the stream I will make another NC-OOC post with a link to the stream. Keep an eye open around 1 hour to 30 minutes before the official start of the event to tune in on time! If you come late you're still more than welcome to attend.

If you have suggestions, feel free to pitch them. We've got a TON of potential movies already lined up, but there's nothing wrong with more suggestions. A good movie to stream is not necessarily a good movie, but rather one which lends itself well to IC commentary: High emotions, mockable or highly relatable characters, etc.
