We’re inviting you to show your fellow players what your characters have been getting up to! Please submit any plots that have been going on since the last Plot Roundup (December 2020). Submit One Comment per character with a collection of links (in chronological order) to important threads they have been a part of as well as a summary of the plot involved. In the subject of the comment include your character's name.

Why do we do this? For spy-reading, of course! It helps everyone in the comm stay abreast of each other's plots, especially as the size of our comm grows. It's also a good way to make sure your hard work is admired by others.

What is relevant: Any prose, private storyline/plot pieces, monthly prompts, community threads, or solo pieces which took place on personal journals or which were reposted onto personal journals from chat apps, etc. The pieces must be considered canon for characters as they are played in the Nexus (ie: No links to memes which were just for fun, etc.) If important Nexus-Canon development has occurred in a meme post that thread MUST be linked here to be considered canon in game, but submissions from other DW games are not allowed under any circumstance. All submitted links should be considered significant to your character's growth or a plot in some way.

For community posts you must link to the important threads you wish to submit. We want to encourage people to spy-read the best parts of your characters' lore and to do that we need to be able to point to where these happened. No one is going to read through a 500+ comment party post for one thread your character was in. Please keep this in mind! The only exception to this is if your character made a top-level Nexus post that has multiple important threads. Please feel free in that case to only link the post once, but the summary Must include which threads are must-reads and why!

How should I list my threads? Please utilize a title for each link to label each submission using the < a href... formatting. This will help cut down on the confusion of having just a list of raw links with no indication as to what each of them is for.

Finally:

We have completely revamped this from its original creation so even if you've been here a while Please Read The Post before replying. This will be the format of the Plot Round-up going forward. Please note any changes are not retroactive so do not fret if old submissions are no longer above board as it were. This is the ruleset we will be using from now on.

It’s been a while since we organized one of these, but it’s back to bring you a chance to kick back with more delicious spyreading! Since we haven't had one of these in a while for This Post anything that is important throughout 2020 will be considered appropriate for submission. Going forward we will be doing monthly plot roundups and at that time only new or ongoing threads will be considered appropriate to submit.

The March Triple Extra Special Plot Roundup: A Farewell to Winter

It’s been a busy few months for the Nexus, and the year’s only just gotten rolling! Both the mods and event runners want to thank all the players who took part in the Winter Event that began in January. Along the way we've seen some fantastic CR, some action-packed encounters and a few grim fates. It’s been a great ride, folks! But as Winter finally lets go of the Nexus, it’s time to recap all that’s happened and enjoy our favorite moments of the last few weeks. In short, it’s Plot Roundup Time!

This month we have a lot to include, and as such we’re taking a different approach to previous roundup posts. Below wait two threads! One holds a summary of the Winter Plot from foreshadowing to finish. Post all your Winter-related plot arcs as replies to this comment. The second thread is for all plots since the beginning of the year which are not part of the Winter Event. We want to make sure they get some love too!

Submit via a comment using the Pastebin format linked below! For convenience and clarity, include a header with your character’s name!

Why do we do this? For spy-reading, of course! It helps everyone in the comm stay abreast of each other's plots, especially as the size of our comm grows. It's also a good way to make sure your hard work is admired by others.

What is relevant: Any prose, private storyline/plot pieces, monthly prompts, or solo pieces which took place on personal journals or which were reposted onto personal journals from chat apps, etc. Only include posts made in the comm if they advance a private storyline. The pieces must be considered canon for characters as they are played in the Nexus (ie: No links to memes which were just for fun, etc.). Links to other DW comms should not be submitted, except on a case-by-case basis. For preference threads should be considered completed as of March 31st 2019 to qualify for this month's roundup and should have completed no earlier than January 1st, except in cases where the last roundup submission deadline was missed.

September Plot Roundup: Start Roundin' Up!

This is the official reminder to start organizing and submitting your September plots for the monthly roundup! The roundup will be posted some time October 1st or 2nd (hopefully!), so the deadline for submissions is the end of the night (EST) on Sunday, September 30th.

Why do we do this? For spy-reading, of course! It helps everyone in the comm stay abreast of each other's plots, especially as the size of our comm grows. It's also a good way to make sure your hard work is admired by others.

What is relevant: Any prose, private storyline/plot pieces, or solo pieces which took place on personal journals or which were reposted onto personal journals from chat apps, etc. The pieces must be considered canon for characters as they are played in the Nexus (ie: No links to memes which were just for fun, etc.). Links to other DW comms should not be submitted, except on a case-by-case basis. Threads/plots should be considered completed as of October 1st to qualify for this month's roundup and should have completed no more than 31 days prior, except in cases where last month's submission deadline was missed.

Format: USE THE PASTEBIN FORMAT! The format comes with an explanation and all of the HTML pre-written. Please follow it closely for uniformity and ease of others' reading. Anything written in ((double parentheses)) is to be deleted and serves only as a guide for you as you fill it out.

Submit by DMing/private messaging me, Rumham, here on Dreamwidth! Do not comment on this post with submissions! It's cleaner, easier, and more fun if they all drop on one day, and I check links/markup to assure no mistakes.

Note also: Each plot should be submitted only once, so talk with your RP partner(s) about who is submitting which links and under which Character Subheader.

If you have any questions about how/what to submit don't hesitate to comment here or DM me. I'll reply as soon as possible. If the Pastebin format is confusing please let me know so that I can edit it for clarity for future roundups.
