April Plot Roundup!

Welcome, tricksters and troublemakers, to the April Plot Roundup!

As always, you reply at Your Own Risk.

It's time for us all to kick back with more delicious spyreading! Once again we’re inviting you to show the Unearthly Powers what your characters have been getting up to! Simply follow the format below and tag with a plot summary and links to the relevant prose and threads – then enjoy checking out the latest storylines! Just make sure to check out our handy FAQ below.

The moderators accept no liability for injury, confusion, causality breakdowns or Ensuing Hilarity resulting from perusal of submitted threads, incorrect submission of threads, or correct submission of threads.

Please submit any plots that have been going on since the last Plot Roundup (March 2021). If you missed out last time or this is your first time submitting to the roundup please feel free to link earlier posts. If you have new threads to an Older plot, please link to your previous plot roundup in the plot summary rather than listing it twice. Failure to observe this condition may result in a fatal

Submit One Comment per character with a collection of links (in chronological order) to important threads they have been a part of as well as a summary of the plot involved. In the subject of the comment include your character's name, birth sign and deepest temptation.

Why do we do this? For marketing data, of course! Filling out this information correctly allows us to sell it to the fey for a handsome sum of dogecoin at the end of the month.

What is relevant: Any prose, private storyline/plot pieces, monthly prompts, community threads, or solo pieces which took place on personal journals or which were reposted onto personal journals from chat apps, etc. The pieces must be considered canon for characters as they are played in the Nexus to prevent your character being replaced by a changeling. All submitted links should be considered significant to your character's growth or a plot in some way for our their own protection.

For community posts you must link to the important threads you wish to submit. We want to encourage people to spy-read the best parts of your characters' lore and to do that we need to be able to point to where these happened. We do not want unforeseen entities reading through a 500+ comment party post and all the know. They will become too powerful. Please keep this in mind! The only exception to this is if your character made a top-level Nexus post that has multiple important threads. Please feel free in that case to only link the post once, but you MUST format it in alternating typeface to confuse the fey!

How should I list my threads? Once alphabetically, then in order of most to least spooky. Please utilize a title for each link to label each submission using the < a href... formatting. This will help cut down on.

For an example of what a submission should look like, check out Liv's post from the December Roundup!

Finally:
Each thread should be submitted only once per player, so if you have multiple muses involved in a single thread you will need to duel the other player! Please contact the mods to arrange seconds at least a day in advance and remember that all weaponry must be sanctioned under the Dreamwidth Accords!
