Fortyskey (Jane Andrewson) ([personal profile] dembonyhips) wrote in [community profile] nc_ooc 2017-09-12 08:07 am (UTC)

Name: Jane Andrewson
Nickname: Fortyskey
Age: Originally ninteen when the Plague of Undeath hit, somewhere around thirty-something now. She doesn't bother to keep count anymore (Because she's dead, what's the fucking point?) Either way, she's eternally physically 19, thanks to the 'stasis' her undead status keeps her in.
Sex: Female. Identifies as thus.
Race: Originally human, now a Forsaken Undead
Sexual Orientation: Asexual, unknown-romantic mostly because she hasn't really cared enough to try.
Socioeconomic level as a child: Poor as fuck. Poor farm girl, crappy drunk father, so on, so forth. Life sucked. And then the Scourge hit.
Socioeconomic level as an adult: Probably the WoW equivelent of lower-upper class. Not uber rich, but as an adventurer she ain't poor. Not having to buy food or many supplies to live helps.
Birth date: 19 years before the Third War. WoW timelines are fucked, man. We don't have proper years.
Birth place: Lordaeron
Current residence: Dalaran
Occupation: Adventurer. Destruction Warlock. Commands Fel Fire and summons demons for mostly profit. Also something of a Necromancer.
Title/Rank: Fortyskey possesses no formal rank, though she's managed to claw her way to some form of respectability. Even if the Orcs find her foul mouth hilarious.
Hobbies/Pastimes: Studying magic. Amassing power. Also a tailor (although in game she's an Engineer now, for the conveniences the profession provides)
Talents/Skills/Powers: A mastery over summoning various demons from the Twisting Nether, and maintaining some measure of control over them, along with the ability to control, create, and wield bright green fel fire. Fortyskey is also something of an amateur necromancer, having risen her pet cat from beyond the grave.

She's also a walking corpse. Fortyskey only needs to take a breath to actually speak, and she's immune to most poisons and lack of air as a result (although she obviously wouldn't be able to talk while underwater, or in a vacuum). She's more durable than her slight frame might suggest, and is capable of regenerating from most forms of damage if she can find suitable flesh and/or meat to consume to make up for the loss.

That said, it's not on the same ridiculous level as Death Knight regeneration and durability.

Past History

Hometown: Some spec on the map in Lordaeron, probably didn't even have a name.
First Memory: A vague memory of her mother before she died.
Most important childhood event that still affects him/her: It's not so much a *childhood* event, but being killed and raised by the Scourge war machine was pretty damn important.
Why/How? Because it literally made her what she is today.
Other memories/events that still affects him/her and why/how: The Forsaken joining the horde. Etc.
Past failures s/he would be embarrassed to have people know about and why: While it's not a secret, before she died, she was a lousy mage. Turns out her talents lied more in the darker, more corrupting magic.

Thanks Arthas!

Biggest role model: She used to practically worship Sylvanas, although now she doesn't really have one.
Why? Sylvanas freed the Undead from the Lich King's control, though her more recent actions come into Forty's question about everything--some of them being, you know. Rather LK like.
Biggest challenge from childhood: Her drunken asshole father.

Physical Characteristics

Height: Five foot three inches tall (around 1.6 meters)
Weight: I never decided an exact number for this but see below.
Posture: Kind of sloppy, like she's eternally tired, despite the fact she can't be.
Build: "90 pounds soaking wet", she's basically a stick and nearly boyish. Being dead hasn't really helped in any regard.
Skin: Pale, but fortunately largely intact. Smooth, matches her surrounding temperature, and has kind of a clammy feel to it if you touch her.
Hair: Black, straight, mildly unkempt
Eyes: used to be blue, now glow with an eerie-ass yellow glow. Sometimes taking on a more greenish hue when sufficiently angered, or throwing around enough fel power to make a few demons jealous.
Describe their smile: Forty rarely smiles in social situations, although it's toothy and broad when she does.
Tattoos/Scars? None
Glasses/Contacts? Funnily enough she needed glasses when she was alive. This was one benefit she gained when she died: She doesn't anymore.
Left/Right handed? Right-hand dominant.
Distinguishing features: Well, she's dead for one. Pale skin and glowing eyes tend to give that away, along with the fact that she's skinny as hell, and short.
Who does s/he take after; mother or father? Don't say it to her face, but her personality matches her father the most. Physically she mostly resembles her mother.
Style (Elegant, shabby, etc): Somewhere in the middle, well taken care of clothing, but not overtly elegant.
How does s/he dress or what do they typically wear? Loose robes, usually.
Other outfits one might find in their wardrobe: Forty does, on occasion, wear trousers and shirts, but it's rare.
Jewelry: None
Other accessories: N/a
Weapons: It's probably best not to ask how, or especially why, but she seems to have gotten her skinny dead hands on an interesting, peculiar staff that can rip fel and shadow spewing holes in reality. Uh. Somebody should probably do something about that.

There's also usually a dagger somewhere on her person as well.

Health: She's dead and scrawny. When she was alive, she was a bit underfed, and not really athletic.
Hygiene: And yet, she keeps herself clean. Probably in some effort to maintain normalcy, and to prevent any smell of undeath from lingering too long.
Physical Flaws: She's not athletic, even as a walking corpse, and a good solid hit will knock her down (and anything of any decent size will send her flying)
Physical Qualities: She's remarkably durable, despite her small frame, and doesn't get tired. Her short stature and skinny body also allow her to fit into relatively small spaces if she needs to hide or lay low.
