Hi everyone, I'm Gayle, just returned to RPing after about 4 years with a shiny new pup.

Gwalchmei is a Mabignogion inspired AU/OC-ish Gawain.

With a few added bonuses. Turns out that Lugh the Sun God took a bit of a shine (fnar) to him and while the sun is down he's only mortally strong but while it's up he's....more. Quite a lot more actually. Anti-violence field aside, anyone planning on jumping him (in any sense of the word)might want to wait until sunset! It's tied to the seasons and the lengths of the days as well, so by noon on Summer Solstice he's basically a tank and on Winter Solstice a determined six year old could probably take him out with their pinky finger if he wasn't concentrating.

I'm still trying to work out his voice but I thought I'd introduce myself anyway. Plurk handle is cydonianlady if anyone wants to prod me for plotting shenanigans. Oh and I'm in the UK, so timezones are a joy.

Hello, Gayle. I'm Astor and I'm just across the pond over in Ireland. I play the resident Winter spirit Reynard here, as well as a couple of other chars (Namely the Durants. They won't be hard to spot).

I'm very curious about your character here and excited to see what trouble he'll get up to in a place like the Nexus. Although I'm not on Plurk I think a fair few of us are on Discord or easy enough to get a hold of through PMs and contact posts if you're looking for plot.

Also, I did have a read and a fangirl of Reynard (he's bloody marvellous) and I'm very interested to see what a Winter spirit is going to make of the big tough warrior who gets exhausted and borderline freaked out by the days getting shorter.

Great to see a new face! Like others have said there are a few EU timezone regulars here and a few who flit in and out, but the comm doesn't have posting speed rules so hopefully that keeps you feeling comfortable about the rollercoaster pace that EU/US timezone differences can cause.

I like your character concept! It's an interesting one, and I can see it being fun to play in a setting like the Nexus. We like to take advantage of the seasons and play around with the setting for events. And! I feel like there are a fair few Earth characters around here who would be very excited to meet an Arthurian Legend character.
